Tobi in Thailand - Pictures after the Wedding - the caves

After the wedding was over and things got more relaxed. Casual clothes and one trip to Nakhon Srithammarat later...

This is Sao's Aunty with Tobi. She's really sweet. Took care of my mom all the time. She's the kind of lovely old lady who you will always remember.

We're on the way to some caves. This is real nature. There is no, absolutely no light inside. The only thing they're used for is by the monks to pray and for the locals to 'chill out'.

Amazing athmosphere inside.

Yes, men can hug as well...

That's about as dark as it was inside the cave. We had one Flashlight and I turned my mobile phone on camera mode to use the flashlight to at least see where we're walking.

All we could see was within the beam of the flashlight. The more revealing the pictures turned out afterwards as we didn't see any of the colours before...

This is a holy pool. The water is said to be blessed by the monks and is suppoesed to protect you from evil spirits if you pour it over your head.

Of course, I had to make sure I am protected... ^^

This is the camera in my hand. Tobi doesn't see anything, therefore the strange posture and the concentrated look on his face.

I just love the structures in the caves this is so beautiful.

The same thing, but with Tobi and me underneath it. This was huge, as you can see.

This is the little monk (neen) leading us through the caves. His father has gone mad and he has been living with the monks for the last couple of years. That is where he gets his education from. The temple is a half open cave and many times the monks go to pray/meditate inside the deeps of the mountain.

Sometimes it was rather tight...

The small ones went into the cave as well.
