Spending my Time

Spending my time at a job that I don't like was definitely not part of my plan. As a teenager you have so many ideas of what your life can become and what you are going to do and then...you grow older, you need to make money to make a living. Especially in my position. I am an expat in Thailand. This means, I have to work, otherwise I don't get a visa. Without visa I have to leave the country. It sucks to be a foreigner in the country you're living in.

In Thailand foreigners can only do jobs that Thais cannot do. I cannot work as taxi driver ( I wouldn't want to), I cannot work as a post man (which is still my most favorite job), I cannot work in any position that officially a Thai person can do.

Nonetheless, I think I am doing the right thing. I am on the right track. It is taking a while until my website proect is finally taking off, but at some point it will. Everything is moving slowly and you can see that it is a gradual development. Everyday a little bit is happening. I wish we could make big moves, big steps to go ahead. A giant leap. But instead we are putting our baby slippers on and we're setting one foot in front of the other. It will take some time. Be patient.

This video helped me understand that I am actually taking the right steps: http://www.ted.com/talks/gary_vaynerchuk_do_what_you_love_no_excuses.html

This guy is amazing and I am sure you will enjoy watching him. For now all I can do is. sit back do my thing and work in the evenings on my own project. Patience is a virtue.

Einatmen, ausatmen und...laecheln :)
