Why it is important what we do

What is global warming?

How does global warming affect me?

In how far will we all be victims of climate change?

Why should we care?

New Energy Blog will give you subtle answers to those questions. It is important to us for you to know what you are fighting for. This means that we want to help you appreciate what we have – Mother Earth, Nature, Mother Earth, the Sun, Water, Rivers, landscapes and finally human created arts and music. New energy Blog will give you a glimpse of what is out there.

It is not just another blog on the advantages of biomass, biofuels, solar energy, wind power and geothermal energy. We are not trying to promote certain products in that direction. The context as a whole is important to us, to see the big picture of what is going on with us and our planet.

We are constantly being manipulated by our media. I am going one step further: Manipulation is the sole intention of the media nowadays. Don’t be mistaken: This is also the intention of this blog!

Everything is engineered. It is not a conspiracy theory. I am not saying that there is a group of people that is leading us into a certain direction. It is society itself. We are leading ourselves to the doomsday - or anywhere else that we want. With every factory that is running. With every Kilometer that we drive in our cars. With every heater that we turn on. With every decision that we make. Or with every minute that we spend outside to enjoy mother earth.

Therefore, I encourage you. Go outside! Enjoy what you have! Take your bike out of your garage and drive it to work! You do not need your air condition all day and all night – apart from the fact that it pushes your electricity bill up. You don’t need it.

I am being a hypocrite. I drive to work every day. I hardly go outside – although I love to sit in my garden on the weekend. I spend too much time on my computer, e.g. to write for this blog or to work on my website, or to work at my job. However, I wish other people to not join my fate and to break free. Spend the time that you have outside and enjoy the fresh air as long as we still have it.

Humans have created marvelous things the Pyramids, the Eifel Tower, Madame Liberty, modern sky scrapers, the Mona Lisa. All of which have only been in existence for a split of a second in the life time of mother earth. They have all been disintegrating from the moment they were created and before another second in the life of our planet has passed, they will be gone again.

So why should we care? The shortest form of art we have is probably music. It only lasts for the time that we hear it. To go even further: As soon as we play another note, the other one is gone. It is the closest we can get to beauty and it’s the closest we can get to death. Music is so alive and can create emotions that last for a lifetime, while the sound itself has long died away. The memory of it resonates within ourselves. Within our minds within our spirit and can last for a lifetime. This is the kind of resonance that we create on this planet. We can choose whether we want to create a resonance in F# Minor or in C Major.

I am sure we as a species will only last a second in the life of mother earth, but our memory, our resonance, will last.

I also want to create a resonance. With this blog, with my words. I want to give you something beautiful short-lived that sticks on in your mind and the next time – maybe – your decision will be a little bit different. A little bit more considerate. A little bit more conscious. A little bit more aware.

Because in this life where everything is so short-lived, every second counts. Every action counts. Everything you do counts. Now!
