Hochzeit 16 (Am abend) - Wedding XVI
Jetzt kommt eine laengere Pause, die wir zum vorbereiten fuer den Abend verbracht haben. Um 16.00 Uhr sollten die Gaeste kommen. Um 13.00 Uhr hat es angefangen zu schuetten. Es hatte die ganzen Tage davor viel geregnet. Am morgen von unserer Hochzeit war wunderschoener Sonnenschein.
Bis 13.00 Uhr.
Genau 1 Stunde Regen reichte aus um saemmtliche Erde im Umfeld in Matsch zu verwandeln. Zum Glueck war's das fuer den Tag an Regen ansonsten haetten wir im warsten Sinne des Wortes baden gehen koennen.
Now there is a big break. We are preparing for the evening. 16.00h the guests should arrive. 13.00h it starts to rain. Not just a little. It pours. It's raining cats and dogs you might say. The day before our wedding, beautiful sunshine. Similar to the morning of our wedding.
Until 13.00h.
It rained almost exactly 1 hour. This was suficient to turn the earth underneath the tents into mud.
Luckily for us, that was all the rain for the day. We were dry, our shoes would get soaked...
Sao, die Brautjungfern und Pavel, mein WG Mitbewohner von der Uni. Ausserdem der juengste Student, der jemals an Webster studiert hat (damals 15 Jahre jung), wenn auch nicht fuer lange. Er hat es gerade mal 1 Jahr ausgehalten. Jetzt studiert er in den Staaten am Reed College.
Sagen wir mal so, die Frauen stehen auf ihn...
Sao, the best girls and Pavel, my house mate at Webster. Apart from that, he is the youngest student to ever study at Webster (back then he was sweet 15). He didn't stay for long, though. 1 year, and then he decided to study in the states. He is now studying at Reed College.
That day, Tobi and Pavel attracted a lot of looks. Somehow all my friends managed to wear the same colour: red.
Ricardo, Luktarn, Sao und ich. Ricardo ist mein Dozent von Webster und ist fuer mich ueberraschenderweise doch nach Trang gekommen. Fuer die beiden war das ein langer Trip (von Hua Hin nach Trang) fuer nur einen Tag. Vielen Dank nochmal fuer's kommen. Thank you very much for coming!!!!
Ricardo, Luktarn, Sao and I. Ricardo was my teacher over at Webster. He and Luktarn made it all the way from Hua Hin to attend the wedding. It was a long trip for both of them. They only stayed one day and then went back to Hua Hin.

In Rot neben mir der Saenger von "Hualampong" der Band, die bei uns gespielt hat. Mittlerweile echt beruehmt. Er musste mindestens 1 1/2 Stunden Autogramme geben und Leute haben an der Strasse angehlaten um ihn zu sehen.
Daneben mit den Dreads und Schnurrbart sein nicht ganz so erfolgreicher Kumpel... Hat auch ne Band. Leider nicht ganz so viel Erfolg...
Again a dear friend of mine in red. P Ut lead singer of the band 'Hualampong'. He came and played with his band. For the rest of the celebration he had to give autographs. People stopped on the road to see him play.
